My good friend and I had the pleasure of having Moses Augustino as a safari guide in 2016 in Northern Tanzania. He was always so knowledgeable about the mammals, birds, environment and cultural aspects of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Ndutu, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. He was also a lot of fun to be around. I have no doubt his company will be as great as he is!Joyce Hoffman

Moses you made our honeymoon really unforgettable!! We can’t wait to go back. From ngorogoro crater to north and south Serengeti and everything in between. It was amazing!! You’re the bestJulia Lopes
Knowledgeable and phenomenal
I have been on safari with Moses Augustino three times, and he would be the one I would choose to go with every time. Moses’ knowledge of the terrain and the animals is phenomenal. On top of that, he is patient and kind. He was interested in our lives as much as we were his. He recognized everyone’s unique interests and needs and was most accommodating. I do not hesitate to recommend Moses and his company to anyone interested in going on safari in East Africa. GO MOAK!!Barbara Livieratos
We were lucky enough to travel to Tanzania and experience an amazing safari in late January /early February 2018. We had 4 excellent guides, each with their own expertise. Our very favorite guide was Moses, he always had a smile on his face and knew where the animals would likely be. We’re both amateur photographers and took thousands of photos between us. The safari was incredible. One of our favorite memories of Moses was sitting down, after a day of touring, and sharing a photo of our dog at home. Moses looked at my phone and exclaimed “Simba!”, our dog is a fluffy golden retriever. We just seemed to connect with Moses and would very highly recommend him to anyone venturing to the area. I’ve attached a couple of photos of Moses from our trip. We would definitely request a trip with Moses if we return.

We had so much fun.
I have gone on safari three times with one of the guides in this company, Moses Augustino. I would not go on safari with any other company or guide. Moses helped us plan for a safari to match our interests and budget. He is professional, knowledgeable, and able to spot the animals almost before they came into view. He is also a lot of fun to spend the time with during the safari drives. He knows the resorts and lodges, and always selected terrific places to stay, whether they were higher end or a tent in the Serengeti. You will not go wrong selecting MOAK for your safari experience.Dorothy Schwartz
Moses Augustino provided our group of three an experience of a lifetime with 10 full days across the Serengeti.
As our driver/guide, he was the essential part of the trip, locating the wildlife, getting us in close to observe them, advising when to go early or late, and providing an array of facts about life in Tanzania. He was passionate about his country, the environment, the animals and loved birds which was a bonus for us as well. His amazing eyesight meant many great bird photos even in this dry season. He was a safe and considerate driver and good company day in and day out.
The accommodation was ideal, especially in the tented camps to give the real feel of Africa at night. The food was very good in such remote environments, and the LandCruiser, a workhorse on the tough tracks, was always stocked with cool water and cleaned inside every day.
We have no hesitation in recommending Moses and his Company for a quality experienceJan & Dennis Hall
Our safari in Tanzania was an extraordinary experience, and Moses was a key part of that. There were four guides that shepherded our group through the course of our trip, and they were all very good in their ability to spot game where we saw nothing at first and to provide as much detail as we wanted about the habits of the game.
Moses stood out from the others in the joy that he brought to the group every day. Our group of 12 rotated between the guides and all of us were pleased when we learned we were going to be in Moses’ vehicle that day. His willingness to share his expertise on the natural world was joined by his openness to sharing his knowledge of his country and its people and their challenges.
If we get a chance to return to Tanzania, we will seek him out to travel with him again, and I recommend him to anyone thinking of making this extraordinary trip.David Marshall
